    There are many water activities to enjoy at Lake Petit. Your first stop should be The Marina where you can rent a boat or kayak, or purchase a fishing permit with rods and tackle. We have everything you need for a great day on Lake Petit.

    Enjoy the mountains and lake views as you dine at the Clubhouse, or have a leisurely patio meal at Duffer's Grab and Go or Beach Club Grille. A variety of meals are available.

    Cool off and make a splash at The Beach Club! Enjoy the pool, lake swimming with an inflatable waterpark and a sandy beach front. Paddleboats, canoes, kayaks, paddleboards are available with our famous 200-foot rockslide.

    Big Canoe offers golf courses - Cherokee, Choctaw, and Creek. Rental clubs are available and tee times must be booked up to four days in advance. Visit our Golf Pro Shop located in the lower level of the Clubhouse at Lake Sconti for any golfing needs during your visit.

  • RACQUET SPORTS

    The Racquet Club has eight outdoor hard couts with six Har-Tru clay courts, two hard courts, four lighted pickleball courts, and two indoor tennis courts. Racquetball is also available at the Wellness Center. Equipment may be rented or purchased in these areas from the fully stocked Pro Shop!

Getting Around in Big Canoe

There's much to keep in mind while visiting, from knowing about mobile phone coverage to how gate access works. Learn what you need to know about Big Canoe to make the most of your time here.
  • GATE ACCESS

    The POA uses an Online Visitor Management System provided by DwellingLive. Only the homeowner or rental management company can call in guests. All communication goes directly to them, and they will contact the gate for you.

    NAVIGATING IN BIG CANOE

    The white arrows on street signs lead you to the 4-way stop on Wolfscratch Drive in front of the Wellness Center and Fire Station. Please maintain posted
    speed limits.

    CELL PHONE COVERAGE

    Cell phone coverage can be spotty throughout Big Canoe and varies among providers. DON'T rely on it for directions or emergencies. Carry a Big Canoe road map in your car.
