Channel 12 Mission Statement

To provide the Big Canoe community with an efficient and timely venue, via the community cable access channel, for amenity information, announcements of meetings and events for Big Canoe organizations and social groups; for bulletins regarding public safety or other emergency situations; and for sales and promotion information on behalf of the Big Canoe Company.

Posting Guidelines

1. Channel 12 is limited to the following uses:
   • Announcements of meetings and events relevant to the Big Canoe Community;
   • The hours of operation and other descriptive information for Big Canoe amenities;
   • Community informational bulletins such as road closings due to repairs or weather.
2. Announcements are generally limited to around 15 to 20 words;
3. Announcements are not to be posted earlier than 20 days before the meeting or event and shall be removed promptly after the date of the event.
4. Announcements of events beyond 20 days will be posted under a special heading, "Future Events," and generally limited to a one or two-line title listing.
5. Postings specifically excluded:
   
   • Announcements of a commercial nature, i.e., products and services advertising;
   • Advertisements for amenity merchandise, except for the announcement of special sale days which shall be limited to seven days prior to the sale date plus the day(s) of the sale event;
   • Political advertising of a candidate-specific nature. (Announcements of political events, such as "meet the candidate meetings," are acceptable.)
