Safety Rules:
Use common sense procedures for boating safety and carry life jackets. Children should be properly supervised. The shoreline drops off very quickly and is at least 10 feet deep only a few feet from the shoreline, therefore, wading is very dangerous, and strictly prohibited.

Swimming is allowed only in Lake Disharoon.

Boats:
Maximum Length: 22 ft.
Motors: Electric motors only. Internal combustion motors are prohibited.
Speed: 5 M.P.H.

Boat Registration:
Each watercraft must carry in a visible location on the right bow, a yearly registration decal. Decals may be purchased from the POA or at the Marina. Dock and rack spaces are assigned by the Marina Supervisor. Permits may be applied for and space will be assigned when available.

Storage:
Dock spaces are the property of the POA and rental on these spaces may be transferred only by them. Definite rules for transfer of these rental agreements must be strictly followed. There is a waiting list for these spaces and to be certain that the proper procedure is followed, you must inform the POA of your intent to transfer title of your boat if the new owner is to have a valid and current rental agreement. Boats on trailers must be stored at the storage lot located by North Gate. All boats must be seaworthy. Boats that are not seaworthy must be repaired within thirty days of notification.
