Bocce Ball is now officially an amenity!

There are over 150 active members on the roster, which includes full time players and substitutes. Bocce has two yearly seasons - spring and fall. There are 32 teams consisting of four members and a list of substitutes. New substitutes are always welcome. These substitutes will be able to fill full time vacancies when they occur.

"Bocce Camp" begins Monday, February 8, 2010

Below is the list of dates for the "bocce camp". This is free and open to anyone in Big Canoe. The camp ends on March 13, 2010, except for Monday mornings.  The Monday morning camps continue all year.

There is a "fun tournament" on March 6, 2010, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Wildcat area courts. Deadline for registration is February 26, 2010.  Cost is $10 per person, with four person teams. Teams consist of four members in any combination. (League teams are two men and two women). This is open to the "public" also. On March 14, 2010 there is a captain's meeting at 3:00 p.m. followed by the "Spring Social" at the Clubhouse. This social is for dues paying league members and subs only. The spring playing season will begin on March 17, 2010. The league team roster is full; but we always like getting new subs.
