LARGE SCALE COMMUNITY SEEKING GENERAL MANAGER
 
The award winning North Georgia mountain community of Big Canoe® is seeking an experienced manager to lead operations of the 8,000+ acre gated property.  The scope of the Property Owners Association’s directly managed operations includes Public Safety, Public Works/Maintenance, Grounds and Landscaping, Architectural Control, Finance and Human Resources Departments.  The Association also owns and directly manages amenities including Golf, Tennis, Fitness, Marina, Parks and Trails, Pools, Bocce, Pickle Ball and Food & Beverage.  The annual budget for the business exceeds $14,000,000, including two to three million in capital spending.
 
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree plus several years of experience and demonstrated success in managing a complex organization.  Preference will be given to those who have successfully managed operations that include responsibility for association operated food service, golf, fitness and tennis facilities.  Holders of industry certifications relevant to association and club management are also preferred.
